We’re retiring!

We wish to let you all know that it is retirement time for us! We have recently agreed the sale of Long Barn and the new owners, Geoff and Hayley, have now taken over. We have so many happy memories from our eleven years of running the business and will especially miss greeting our guests when they arrive for their stay with us – many of whom we now regard as dear friends.  Long Barn is and will continue to be a special place for us. Its cottage style and its rural location provide a relaxing feeling – but still it’s only a short drive to the lovely coastline and Dartmoor whenever you feel the need to explore!

So what now for us? Well as many of you know we have two sons, one in the Midlands and one in Australia, so retirement will give us a bit more time to travel and spend time with them. Our first big trip is likely to be New Zealand (and of course Australia!) and after that we will see – Covid-19 permitting!

Thank you so much for your support and for staying with us over the years and we hope you will continue to enjoy Long Barn in the years to come in our special bit of Devon.
